Nestled comfortably underneath a beautiful Banyan tree in downtown Wailuku, our historic old building is only minutes away from the finest windsurfing, snorkeling, surfing, sunbathing, whale watching venues and some of the most breathtaking wonders in the world. We cater to backpackers, surfers, artists, athletes and other fascinating people from all over the world.

For the less adventurous, we are also within walking distance to unique shops, art galleries, the famous I'ao Theatre, a great local museum, and many fine restaurants. The Northshore Hostel Maui is conveniently located two blocks away from the Wailuku bus station giving you easy access to transportation to all parts of the island. Many guests choose to rent a vehicle to allow complete mobility in exploring Maui and often ride-share with the new friends they meet at the hostel.
